Politici a novináři čelí ve své každodenní práci mnoha překážkám a peripetiím. Ačkoli to vypadá, že jsou si obě strany protivníky, nemusí to být pravdou. Faktem je, že mezi sebou politici, političky, novinářky a novináři sdílí čas a prostor, čímž vznikají profesní a mezilidské vztahy. Vnímat, nastavovat a udržovat hranice těchto vztahů je mnohdy vysoce náročná práce a tudíž i nárok, který je na profesionály obou oborů kladen. O tom se moc neví a ani se o tom nemluví, ale zkoumá se to. Hra Press & Power chce tyto vztahy a fenomény otevírat skrz herní zážitek.

Press & Power umožňuje hráčům zažít konkrétní příběhy problematických vazeb a (ne)spoluprací mezi politiky a novináři s cílem poodkrýt fenomény spojené s prací v politickém a novinářském prostředí. Záměrem je umožnit pochopení nuancí mezilidských profesních vztahů. Ať už hrajete za politika nebo novinářku, realita je mnohem barvitější, než by se mohlo na první dojem zdát.

Politicians and journalists face many obstacles and challenges in their day-to-day work. Although it may seem that the two sides are adversaries, this might not necessarily be the case. The fact is that politicians and journalists share time and space, which leads to the formation of professional and interpersonal relationships. Recognising, establishing and maintaining the boundaries of these relationships is often a highly demanding task and, consequently, a significant challenge for professionals in both fields. Little is known about this, nor is it often discussed, but it is being researched. The game Press & Power aims to explore these relationships and phenomena through a gaming experience.

Press & Power allows players to experience specific stories of problematic ties and (lack of) cooperation between politicians and journalists, with the aim of shedding light on the phenomena associated with working in political and journalistic environments. The intention is to facilitate an understanding of the nuances of interpersonal professional relationships. Whether you play as a politician or a journalist, the reality is far more colourful than it might seem at first glance.
